Doctor Mumbo Jumbo on the Offer Prelude

My good friend and spiritual mentor, Swami Moochananda, is busy developing a virtual astral projection course this week. I am Doctor Mumbo Jumbo, Ph.D., and I will be talking on the offer at http://www.selfawareness.com/. First, folks will ask what is a “virtual astral projection” course?

Astral Projection Definition

Well, that necessitates a definition of astral projection. I guess I first must refer you to the Wiki article on the subject at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astral_projection. “Astral projection (or astral travel) is an esoteric interpretation of a type of out-of-body experience that assumes the existence of an ‘astral body’ separate from the physical body and capable of traveling outside it. Astral projection is experienced as being ‘out of the body’.”

Virtual Definition

So virtual is defined as “an imaginary conceptualization of something real. For example, many feel that the Internet is a virtual world unto itself. The term takes on many uses in the computer world, as a wide variety of devices and software exist for the sole purpose of providing simulations of reality.”

So what is Swami Moochananda doing? Well, he intends to take the astral self, and travel the worldwide Internet highway, and then speak to another person via their computer screen. It almost sounds like something from the Star Trek, where you hear the words, “Beam me down, Scotty”. Well, I agree.

For now, let’s get back to the website http://www.selfawareness.com/. There you will find the link called courses, which takes you to http://www.selfawareness.com/ProgramsOffered.html. Why he’s not consistent with the link names, I will never know. Wouldn’t it be easier if ProgramsOffered.html actually said Courses.html? Now let’s click on the link Self Realization Course, and it takes us to – surprise, surprise (as in the words of Gomer Pyle) – to the link http://www.selfawareness.com/SelfRealizationCourse.html. Notice the linked clicked, and the clicked name, is “now the same.” So what is wrong with the offer here? Well, we will tackle this issue together, is a couple days or so.
